Major Raja Aziz Bhatti was a brave officer in the Pakistan Army who showed unmatched courage during the Indo-Pak war of 1965. He led his troops with great skill and held his post under heavy fire for five days to defend the country. Even when offered rest, he refused to leave the frontlines. He was martyred on the battlefield and posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan’s highest military award. His patriotism and sacrifice make him a national hero and symbol of valor.
