It was summer, and a little ant was busy collecting food. She carried grain after grain to her storage, preparing for the cold months ahead.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, a grasshopper sang and danced, mocking the ant. \u201cWhy work so hard?\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s plenty of food!\u201d<\/p>\n
The ant warned, \u201cWinter is coming. You should store food too.\u201d<\/p>\n
But the grasshopper ignored her advice. When winter came, snow covered the ground, and food was nowhere to be found.<\/p>\n
The hungry grasshopper knocked at the ant\u2019s door and asked for help.
